As we wrap up 2025, we want to share a few updates from across the FGI community and take a moment to thank you for being part of this work. It has been a year of student growth, volunteer dedication, and exciting momentum for the year ahead.

In October we launched our refreshed website to make it easier to learn about our mission, explore student stories, and stay connected with FGI. If you have not had a chance to visit since the update, we hope you take a look.
Fall Highlights
Our programming team has been active across campuses nationwide. Here are a few moments that stood out this semester:
- Capstone Presentations at Lehman College, University of Maryland, Georgetown University, St Francis College, and UNC Charlotte
- A tutor networking event hosted by Oak Hill Advisors that brought together our volunteers for connection and learning
- A speaker session with Raymond James that gave students exposure to finance professionals
A Year-End Reflection
As we close out the year, we are reminded of a simple truth: small beginnings can lead to lasting change. Every classroom moment, every capstone presentation, and every student who takes their first step toward owning their financial future is supported by a community that believes in them.
One of our students shared this reflection at the end of the semester:
“I learned that there are people out there who want what's best for me and are here to help if genuinely needed. And to use that help.”
This is the power of this community. Thank you for helping plant the seeds that will continue to grow in the year ahead.
