Dear FGI Community,
Today I'm sharing First Generation Investors' Impact Report for the 2025-2026 school year.
Earlier this year, our 2025 Annual Report looked at how FGI grew as an organization. This report looks at something closer to the classroom: what changed for the students who went through the program.
During the 2025-2026 school year, students across 17 states and Washington, DC completed 1,416 capstone projects, presenting their investment decisions with support from 639 college tutors.
One student in North Carolina told us her goal is to become a pediatric nurse. She wrote that by investing now, she's building “a financial safety net that will support me during my clinical rotations.” That's the kind of thinking we hope every student leaves with.
In the report, you'll hear directly from more students and tutors about what the experience meant to them, and see where we're headed next, including making summer programming a permanent part of our year.
You can read the full report here: FGI's 2025-2026 Impact Report
Every student in this report had a tutor who showed up each week, a school that made room for the program, and a community of supporters who made it possible. Thank you for being part of that.
With gratitude,
Elisabeth Renikoff
